Beginning now, the Liberty Stream community will be able to nominate their favorite socialist/fascist/spread-the-wealth moment of the week! It can be something President Obama did or said himself… or you can cull your day-to-day experiences for an Obammie moment.

For example, maybe your kid’s teacher decides everyone tried really, really hard and gives every student an “A.” That’d be a perfect thing to nominate. Then I will choose the weekly winner of the coveted Obammie. As of right now, the only prize for winning an Obammie is the self-confidence that comes with being able to accurately spot Obammie moments. But maybe soon, actual prizes may enter the picture. I know… exciting.

To nominate your own Obammie moment, comment on this post, and check back in soon to see which Obammie moment rose to the top and took the cake!  But don’t worry, in true Obama-style, we’ll be sharing the cake equally with all.

While we are not but a year into what I am finding to be the most humorous presidency of my life (alas I have only seen three to this point), the staggered decline in presidential approval ratings for President Obama does not offset the curious and ever-present phenomenon of the Obama maniacs.

National sales tax?!  How exciting.

“That’s when we dropped out and started Flutter.”

“Well, it wasn’t torture, Norah.”

“If I wanted to see young, attractive people doing cool, exciting things, ya know, I’d go watch sports.”  Now, I’m a Star Trek fan from long ago… but this movie isn’t just for Trekkies.  It got over 90% on RottenTomatoes.com.  The last time a movie got that high it was Slumdog Millionaire.  Go see it if you haven’t already.
