“I supported him [Obama]. I voted for him. I will not again.”
Could it be that the President wrongly stereotyped police officers last week? Watch this interview for a new perspective.

Check out this insightful article on the five freedoms you’ll lose if ObamaCare is passed. It comes from CNN.com which is a surprise because normally they give anything relating to Obama their stamp of approval. So read this and weep… or call your congressman!
Does this actually surprise anyone? Not me. I think the majority (now) of Americans are seeing this acted out on a daily basis….

So, assuming no change in the US Constitution, I’d be able to run for President in the 2020 election (seeing as how I’d be over 35 years old). I’m not saying I actually want to be President. But today, after seeing Star Trek for the second time, I was debating with my sister and my friend on whether the movie took place around the year 2300 or the year 23000. As a former Trekkie and as the former Vice President of the 4th Grade Star Trek Fan Club, I was rather confident the movie took place around the year 2300 (you see, the first warp flight supposedly takes place in 2063 after mankind’s 3rd World War, and then it’s the Vulcans who realize that the humans have discovered this technology and they… well, you get the point). Anyways, as I was passionately debating my stance outside the men’s and women’s bathrooms, I realized how much fun it would be to debate President Barack Obama. By that time, he’ll be ending his 3rd term in office, right? So yeah, it’d be fun to be a Presidential candidate so I could have the chance to debate him. As soon as I debate him, I’d probably pull out of the race so I can focus on my family and my business and let my Vice Presidential nominee, Palin (or Gingrich or Jindal or whomever), takeover. Anyways, those are my thoughts for this evening. Oh… and the movie takes place mainly in the year 2258.
Check out this video from gallup.com. I think it gives lowly bloggers like myself who are trying to “defend conservatism” some hope!
I know I mostly blog about politics, but occasionally I think I’ll blog about other things that interest me… like consumer product information. SO, to start you out, I thought I’d inform you on what I learned when researching a new car. Thanks to my consumerreports.com subscription, I found out that it makes little to no sense to opt for the built in GPS navigation in your new car. Why? Well, let’s hop in our time-machine and go back to 1987. That’s when built-in cell phones were being offered by many of the luxury car manufacturers. Can you imagine having your cell phone tied to your car? Same goes for GPS. Having it built into your car will look ancient ten years from now. Not only that but also consumerreports.com pointed out that the ROI (return on investment) for built-in car navigation is negative. You can spend up to $1000+ for the built-in nav, but it only increases the resale value of the car by maybe a couple hundred dollars… And with nav systems going for sub-$100 these days, there is now officially no reason to get built-in nav unless it comes standard. And finally, adding the death blow to built in nav? This article…
Nancy Pelosi recently said that it is “time to reaffirm our commitment to access to quality, affordable health care for every American, including the 47 million who live in fear of even a minor illness because they lack health insurance… In the wealthiest nation on earth, it is scandalous that a single working American or a young child must face life without the economic security of health care coverage.”
What’s scandalous, Ms. Pelosi, is the obvious deceit of the American people in which you’re participating. Who are these 47 million uninsured people? Let’s break it down:
So why are we about to pass another $TRILLION+ bill to insure a bunch of people who either don’t deserve it (aren’t citizens), don’t want it (can afford it), or don’t need it (the young and healthy)? This is insanity. Especially when Obama and his administration has already quadrupled the national debt. Frustrating to say the least.
