Obama a Marxist – Post contributed by SlaughteredSheep.com’s Peter King

Dang it! I HATE it when someone who’s billed as an honest reformer turns out to be sympathetic to Marxism! Seriously, that’s a big pet peeve of mine

Here he is in his own words from his audio version of his book, Dreams From My Father…

Just after President Obama took office, the NEA updated it’s website to include the book, Rules for Radicals, by Saul Alinksky, under the “Recommended Reading” section. And here’s a picture of him teaching the principles of the book, Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinksky, which is a blueprint on “how to create mass organizations to seize power and give it to the people” (1st page of the book).

Additionally, a young Obama was mentored by Frank Davis who publicly identified himself as a member of the communist party…

Key advisor Valerie Jarrett’s father worked with Frank Davis, too.

Obama himself admits to attending socialist conferences and studying marxist literature.

Then there’s the clear pattern of “economic justice” … AKA take from the rich and give to the poor – spread the wealth. Obama: “When you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

That aint capitalism folks. So, what ism would you file that under?

It also makes perfect sense when you look at the people who he grew up around as well as who he surrounds himself with now.

Barack Obama Sr. (Dad)

  • Communist who saw nothing wrong with government ‘taxing 100%’ so long as the people got benefits…
  • Obama Sr. on socialism (Link)
  • Overview of the paper (Link)
  • Harvard educated economist
  • Nairobi bureaucrat who advised government to ‘redistribute’ income through higher taxes
  • Demonized corporations
  • Abandoned Barack Obama Jr. when he was 2 years old to continue at Harvard (teaching son that ideology is more important than family)

Stanley Ann Dunham (Mom)

  • Communist sympathizer
  • Practiced ‘critical theory’ (aka Marxism)
  • Influenced by Nietzsche and Freud
  • Left Hawaii for Indonesia, Pakistan
  • Attended a leftist church nicknamed the ‘little red church’ because of its Communist sympathies
  • Left Barack Obama Jr.

Mentor

  • Barack’s grandparents introduced Barack Obama Jr. to poet and communist Frank Marshall Davis (Link)
  • Davis becomes a mentor as young Barack struggled with abandonment by parents

College & Church

  • Admittedly sought out ‘Marxist’ professors (Link)
  • Admittedly attended ’socialist conferences’ (Link)
  • Began attending a Marxist church – led by pastor Jeremiah Wright (attended for 20 years) (Link)

Career

  • Tragedy of the Warren Court: No redistributive change (Link)
  • Voted for TARP (Link)
  • $787 billion stimulus redistribution bill
  • Healthcare bill admittedly about ‘redistributing the wealth’
  • Single Payer Healthcare proponent (Link)
  • President Obama now also President of GM & Chrysler
  • President Obama seizes control of insurance giant AIG
  • President Obama is leading America to single payer healthcare
  • President Obama seized control of Student Loan industry in order to ‘cut out middle man’
  • President Obama seizes control in massive land grabs
  • Repeatedly vilifies ‘the rich’
  • Obama believes race problems can be solved through redistribution of wealth… he said “race is still an enormous factor in our society. But economics can overcome a lot of racial division.”
  • Trying to regulate the Internet via FCC
  • Forces mortgage co’s to cover people who aren’t paying mortgage (Link)
  • Extends unemployment benefits to 99 weeks (Link)
  • Told Joe the plumber ‘it’s better when you spread things around’ (Link)

Family, Friends, Advisors & Administration

  • Wife Michelle Obama said “The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”
  • Jim Wallis, Obama’s spiritual advisor & forced redistribution of wealth advocate
  • Van Jones, disgraced Green Jobs Czar & Communist
  • Ron Bloom, Manufacturing Czar & anti-free market
  • John Holdren, pro-redistribution of wealth
  • Andy Stern, SEIU President & redistribution of wealth fan
  • Anita Dunn, fan of Chairman Mao
  • Mark Lloyd, FCC ‘Diversity Czar’
  • Carol Browner, socialist
  • Robert Creamer, socialist

He’s also been a huge supporter of community organization, ACORN. Here is ACORN’s former CEO (she was CEO when he was elected president) addressing a socialist organization.

You can watch Glenn Beck debunk Obama’s claim that he’s not a socialist HERE

But, really, don’t take my word for it. Here’s the words of marxist professor, Manning Marable:

“What makes Obama different is that he has also been a community organiser. He has read left literature, including my works, and he understands what socialism is. A lot of the people working with him are, indeed, socialists with backgrounds in the Communist Party or as independent Marxists. There are a lot of people like that in Chicago who have worked with him for years…”

Concluding Thoughts

If the President sides with Marxism, so be it. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. I’m not out to paint him as the anti-Christ or anything. However, if he is sympathetic to marxist views (and I believe he is), then shouldn’t this be debated openly? Did the majority of Americans who voted for him believe they were voting someone with many socialist and marxist leanings?

Democrat Congresswoman is Absolutely Full of it.

Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee completely avoids questions about her incredibly rude treatment of a constituent.  Finally she insinuates that this YouTube video was actually doctored.  No, Ms. Jackson-Lee, but your health insurance reform sure could use some doctoring.  Oh, and next time?  Excuse yourself when you’re going to answer a call.

I’d Like to Debate Obama

20081008_obama_pointing_finger_yellingAmokTimeFIghtSo, assuming no change in the US Constitution, I’d be able to run for President in the 2020 election (seeing as how I’d be over 35 years old).  I’m not saying I actually want to be President.  But today, after seeing Star Trek for the second time, I was debating with my sister and my friend on whether the movie took place around the year 2300 or the year 23000.  As a former Trekkie and as the former Vice President of the 4th Grade Star Trek Fan Club, I was rather confident the movie took place around the year 2300 (you see, the first warp flight supposedly takes place in 2063 after mankind’s 3rd World War, and then it’s the Vulcans who realize that the humans have discovered this technology and they… well, you get the point).  Anyways, as I was passionately debating my stance outside the men’s and women’s bathrooms, I realized how much fun it would be to debate President Barack Obama.  By that time, he’ll be ending his 3rd term in office, right?  So yeah, it’d be fun to be a Presidential candidate so I could have the chance to debate him.  As soon as I debate him, I’d probably pull out of the race so I can focus on my family and my business and let my Vice Presidential nominee, Palin (or Gingrich or Jindal or whomever), takeover.  Anyways, those are my thoughts for this evening.  Oh… and the movie takes place mainly in the year 2258.

St. Louis Tea Party: A HUGE Success

People Singing the National Anthem

People Singing the National Anthem

Today I travelled with two friends to attend the Tea Party hosted in Washington, MO.  What an inspirational event!  So many people (about 3000 I heard) came out to support the tried and true conservative values of freedom, independence, and self-preservation.  There were so many great signs, t-shirts, and speeches.  Highlights for me were hearing from Curtis, an 18-year-old blogger at www.gatewaypatriot.com, hearing from Dr. Gina Loudon on how to promote legislative change, and hearing from Dana Loesch, a very passionate radio host.

What Qualifies as Propaganda?

IMG_0332IMG_0329So, there I was standing in line at Walmart the other day.  I picked up a reprint of Time’s 2004 pictorial issue all about D-Day, self described as a “reissue of the 2004 Time Classic.”  And, I know, this is such a little thing, but it just adds to the bigger picture of how astonishingly liberally bent 95% of mainstream media is.  So I’m flipping through the pages and I land on this one big, glossy picture of a factory in New Orleans that manufactured landing boats for the D-Day invasion.  In that picture you see the workers busily assembling the landing boats with a oversized banner hanging above them that says, “The guy who relaxes is helping the axis” [see right].  Now that all seems logical to me.  Don’t slack off, cause the Nazis are taking over the world, right?  But the 2004 caption by the Time magazine writers says, “ON THE DOUBLE:  Urged on by a propaganda poster, workers in one of the Higgins’ seven factories in New Orleans churn out his landing boats.”  Propaganda?  Prop-a-gan-da??  At first I was mad.  Then I was confused.  Maybe I got the definition of propaganda wrong.  So I looked it up!  Propaganda according to my MacBook Pro dictionary dashboard widget means, “cheifly derogatory information; esp. of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.”  Am I missing something here?  How is this poster propaganda at all?!  It’s not!  Nazis were evil!  Americans were out to save the world!  And yeah, if you relax, you were indirectly helping the Axis.  I see no propaganda here.  Well, what can I say Time Magazine writers… way to call the kettle black.

My Response to Global Warming Arguments

global_warming_by_teabingBelow is an ongoing, thoughtful discussion between a friend and I regarding global warming and cap and trade.  The response I wrote was way too long for facebook, so I’m posting it here.  My thoughts are in blue.  His are in black.

Ok, let’s look at it this way…. : )

we insure our cars, health, and home, expecting nothing bad to happen… Thousands of dollars a year go down the drain for a minor probability of actually using the $ we invested… everyone supports this system.

Everyone supports this system because people have the FREEDOM to choose who they want to insure with, how much they’ll pay, or even, whether or not they want a car or health care or a home to insure.

Insuring that we avoid catastrophic consequences of the scientific communities’ projections of climate change seems like the prudent thing to do, EVEN if there is a not a high probability of it happening (which there is, according to the people who actual study the climate).

Not everyone who studies the climate believes that global warming is real. If it were real, why would CO2 levels keep going up over the past decade while the global temperatures have consistently declined each year of the last ten years? Continue reading after the jump…

If Obama were George W. Bush…

obamacommielogo

An email that got forwarded to me today… thought I’d post for all to see!

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky…
