Dang it! I HATE it when someone who’s billed as an honest reformer turns out to be sympathetic to Marxism! Seriously, that’s a big pet peeve of mine

Just after President Obama took office, the NEA updated it’s website to include the book, Rules for Radicals, by Saul Alinksky, under the “Recommended Reading” section. And here’s a picture of him teaching the principles of the book, Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinksky, which is a blueprint on “how to create mass organizations to seize power and give it to the people” (1st page of the book).

Additionally, a young Obama was mentored by Frank Davis who publicly identified himself as a member of the communist party…

Key advisor Valerie Jarrett’s father worked with Frank Davis, too.

Obama himself admits to attending socialist conferences and studying marxist literature.

Then there’s the clear pattern of “economic justice” … AKA take from the rich and give to the poor – spread the wealth. Obama: “When you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

That aint capitalism folks. So, what ism would you file that under?

It also makes perfect sense when you look at the people who he grew up around as well as who he surrounds himself with now.

But, really, don’t take my word for it. Here’s the words of marxist professor, Manning Marable:

“What makes Obama different is that he has also been a community organiser. He has read left literature, including my works, and he understands what socialism is. A lot of the people working with him are, indeed, socialists with backgrounds in the Communist Party or as independent Marxists. There are a lot of people like that in Chicago who have worked with him for years…”

Concluding Thoughts

If the President sides with Marxism, so be it. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. I’m not out to paint him as the anti-Christ or anything. However, if he is sympathetic to marxist views (and I believe he is), then shouldn’t this be debated openly? Did the majority of Americans who voted for him believe they were voting someone with many socialist and marxist leanings?

Watch this video to see the liberal “get out the vote” organization ACORN doing what it does best… engage in horrible, complete corruption.  Did we ever doubt?  It’s also interesting to start connecting the dots between Obama and ACORN…  Oh, and one last thing, sounds like ACORN may be receiving $8.5 billion in stimulus money.

I loved Dr. Laura’s most recent blog. I can’t say I even live up to her strict standards at all times, but I love the concepts and will hopefully employ them someday… read on!

“Technology is the Evil Empire, Bent On Destroying Family Intimacy!” That’s the headline I’d like to put on this post, but guns don’t shoot people – people shoot people – so technology is not destroying families. People are destroying their own families.

The technology I’m talking about is texting, video gaming, Facebook, email, Twitter, MySpace and more. Remember when the only complaint about lack of communication in families was when family members were all in separate rooms watching different television programs? Well, now, family members can all be in the same room, totally ignoring each other for the sake of fake friends and useless information, instead of for family conversations. Some family members even text each other from different parts of the same home, rather than walk the 15 feet, hug, and talk to each other.

I remember the not-so-recent TV ads that promoted a family eating dinner together. Now, if you showed an ad with a family at the dinner table, there’d have to be a sign nearby that said “No Wireless Zone.” I wonder what depth of interaction is being missed because one is getting superficial “quickies” from texting or emailing or Facebooking? On the other hand, I already know that we’re less able to engage in reasoned, significant discourse and profound intimacies these days, because, from the age of 4 or 5, we’re geared toward the superficial, faceless exchange of comments on each other’s web pages.

Parents, you must get yourselves into gear and limit the amount of time per day donated to the wireless world outside of work. Otherwise, over time, there’ll be no need for lips and vocal cords and eye contact, and we’ll evolve into “thumbs only” beings who just peck away with a false sense of actually participating in the real world.”

“Truthfully, I’m surprised you’ve hung on this long with all my rants and raves. Remember the good ol days when neither of us knew each other’s politics? Maybe that was better… Anyways, practically, you should definitely “Hide” me from your newsfeed… that way, when you wanna check in on me and see some recent photos, you can… but you’re not force-fed my conservative points of view…

Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee completely avoids questions about her incredibly rude treatment of a constituent.  Finally she insinuates that this YouTube video was actually doctored.  No, Ms. Jackson-Lee, but your health insurance reform sure could use some doctoring.  Oh, and next time?  Excuse yourself when you’re going to answer a call.
